How to Remove the Popup of Lucky Wheel Virus?

The lucky wheel virus is usually caused by an adware download or dangerous browser redirects. It is a scam which deceives the user to share their personal details. When the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge users open the internet, a pop-up of lucky wheel spins every time which is very annoying. The users have tried to remove it by downloading Malwarebytes and scanning for the virus but it didn’t affect. Thus, here is how to remove the popup of the lucky wheel virus.

Clear Cache

To remove the popup of lucky wheel virus, clear your phone’s cache. Go to your phone’s Settings and then go to Applications. Under the Application tab, go to Application Manager and tap on your browser App to clear its cache. Upon confirmation, tap on yes to clear cached data. Then, force stop the browser App.

Uninstall

Try to remove the software or application downloaded on your device. To uninstall it, go to your phone’s Settings and then go to Apps. Under the Apps tab, go to the downloaded section and then look for ‘Congratulations You Won.’ Choose it and uninstall it from your Samsung Galaxy S6 edge.

If the option is not active there, then go to Settings and click on More. Under the More tab, go to security and then click on device administrator. Make sure only the Android Device Manager has permission to alter your device. Moreover, make sure that under the security tab, you don’t have unknown sources marked out.

Go Products

Another solution you can try to remove the popup lucky wheel virus is to delete all the Go products on your Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. The products like Go Keyboard and all plugins, languages, and skins. Also, delete the NEXT browser too. By deleting all these products, hopefully, the lucky wheel virus will disappear.

Protect Device from Problem Apps

Make sure the Google Play Store Play Protect is enabled. Open your Google Play Store and tap on the menu. Then, click on play protect and turn on ‘scan device for security threats.’

Factory Reset

To factory reset your Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, go to your phone’s Settings and then go to the Backup and Reset. Now, uncheck automatic restore and factory reset your phone. Finding the culprit App is a bit difficult, but try deleting the Apps one by one to check which one is causing the problem.
