HP reveals its new stylish HP 8 Tab

If you are looking for an Android tablet going for less than $200, then recently launched tablet by HP is the tablet you should be looking at. HP made a surprising move of cutting down the rate of its tablet which is yet to receive much due attention, just yet. Most people already know of the HP Slat 7 and Slat 10 HD tablets whose launch was marked by much hype at the Mobile World Congress 2013. This new model may not be like the Slate version in terms of being flashy, speedy or even fancy but the HP 8 would deliver you the standard function any budget conscience consumer would be looking for. The HP 8” Android tab goes for just $169.95

The features on this tablet includes: Quad Core A31s ARM chip manufactured by the Chinese organization, All Winner. It runs the Android 4.2.2 (Jellybean) OS with a clear  IPS Display of 8 Inches. It has a 1GB RAM and ROM of 16GB but can be expanded further using a microSD card. It has a good sound quality supported by stereo speakers and a practical battery pack of 3,800mAh that can keep you running to a total of 7 hours. It also supports the 3G network connectivity and comes with a 1 Year restricted equipment guarantee.

Considering all those features so far, the HP 8 looks like a good deal for the buyer. However, one disappointing side is the low screen resolution of 1024×768 pixels that has been spread over a large screen. Compared to the Slate 7 and its opponent Dell’s Venue 8, the HP 8 definitely has a poor show. This is device’s specifications and pricing only shows how much HP is attempting to force on a shift into the Android based market, by coming with low-profiled launches which would mean minimal efforts on their part. The pricing proves that this is a lineup between the HP Slate 7 that goes for $149.99 and the HP Slate HD that goes for $299.99ncludes: Quad Core
