Kenya incubation, acceleration, and co-working space iHub is set to hold its inaugural Health Meet Tech Application challenge this June. The competition is geared towards sparking innovative tech solutions to challenges in the health sectors.

iHub intends to use the competition to bring health workers and developers into the same table to brainstorm on e-health solutions for the sectors. On this program, iHub has partners with Facebook and EpiAfric.

The challenge will run from June 9-10. Participants in this competition need to come up with an e-health tech solution that improves the quality of healthcare delivery service and results in better healthcare outcomes.

iHub and its partners will look up to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets for health during their judgment of the e-health solutions presented in the competition. The winner will get a three months incubation support and access to an enabling network and environment to scale their product into the general market.
