Infinix Note 3 is getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update

Infinix Note 3

It would appear that Infinix Note 3 is up next to get the Android 7.0 Nougat.

This smartphone has become rather too popular in the Kenyan market, largely because of the superior features it has and at relatively affordable prices. The Note series of Infinix smartphones have made a name for themselves of having stupendous battery life and large screens.

The Infinix Note 3 for instance, has an all-metallic design, has a fingerprint scanner, and a 1080p display. With the upgrade of its mobile OS to Android 7, users are bound to get killer features to match the smartphone’s big hardware specs.

Feature coming to Infinix Note 3 with Android 7 update

Android 7.0 Nougat is well on its way celebrating one-year anniversary ever since Google released it. However, OEMs (as usual with Android devices) are slow to roll out these updates to their manufactured Android devices. Sometimes, OEMs completely fail to roll out the update. Probably a calculated move to get you to buy their next line of device that will come with the latest mobile OS out of the box, all the while; they restrict older devices from getting the update.

With Nougat, Infinix Note 3 will be able to use split-screen multitasking, improved notification system, seamless updates, and an improved battery management. Android 7 has been around for a little over a year now, yet it accounts for a measly 4.5% of the Android distribution in the market.
