This September 22-27, Ingressive, a company supporting the new generation of African innovators, is leading Tour of Tech: Lagos 2015, a private trip for global investors to spend meeting ministry, African influencers, and hundreds of sub-Saharan startup founders.

Travelers include Jeff Hoffman, Founding Member of Priceline, Founder of ColorJar, and Global Board Member of GEW, US State Department’s GIST and United Nations. Tour of Tech attendees also include Jason Seats, Managing Director of Techstars, Andrea Barrica, Venture Partner 500 Startups, Jorn Lyseggen, Founder of MEST and Meltwater, and Suzanne Andrews, Founder of women angel’s network, WingPact.

Ingressive’s Tour of Tech has partnered with bespoke travel technology company Tastemakers Africa to infuse bespoke, elite, and modern Africa into the events.

Tour of Tech provides an experience — a deep dive into life as an African entrepreneur, and an understanding of policy through meetings with ministry, advice from co-investors.

The agenda starts from the bottom of the period, where travelers will tour Generation Enterprise, a company connecting Ivy MBAs with youth in the slums build scalable startups.  After that, they’ll meet women in business and attend an investor summit produced by Lagos Angel Network and VC4Africa.

Their signature event occurs on Thursday, September 24th. In Pursuit of Progress and Preservation provides space for African leaders from all sectors to discuss Naija in the global economy. What we must keep, what we should change.

It is the only event where our investors will have an opportunity to understand the culture, and the needs to preserve, progress, and innovate what is fundamentally Naija. Attendees include Hon.
