Innov8tiv is Hosting a Networking & Practice Your Pitch Event For Millennial Women #smwNetWorq
Social Media Week, a week-long series of events organized globally twice a year, will be coming back February 2015 to New York City, focusing on the enormous social, cultural and economic impact of social media. This week gives many a chance to dialogue, network and explore platforms and innovations that are now guiding the landscape of modern lifestyle and business every day.
In line with what is set to be an exciting time for social media consumers around the world, Innov8tiv, MadamNoire IBOM LLC, Mayven PR and Social Media Week will host a special Social Media Week event Feb. 24 at 630 p.m. called “Grow Your Brand: A Networking and Elevator Pitch Event for Millennial Women”
This event will allow young millennial women, the opportunity to practice their elevator pitch and meet other entrepreneurs at the same time.
Essentially, participants of the event will be required to give a brief overview of an idea for a product, service, or project that can be delivered in the space of an elevator ride (say, 2-3 minutes or 100-150 words). The goal of an elevator pitch is to interest your target enough in your idea that he or she wants to meet with you again. Potential investors often judge the quality of an idea and team on the basis of its elevator pitch, using them to quickly weed out bad ideas.
