How to install Fall Creators Update now

The first option – and one with least hassle – is checking the Windows Update center; go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Again, Microsoft is rolling out the Fall Creators Update in phases, and unfortunately, only those users in the first ring of the roll out will get the update by invoking this trick. If you have checked and can’t see your computer updating, worry not. Move on to the next trick below.

Use Windows 10 Update Assistant to install Fall Creators Update

This trick should work for just about anyone around the world, but it will require a bit extra hassle on your part compared to the trick above. Head on to www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and download the Windows 10 Update Assistant.

After downloading the application, install it on your computer. Run the program, and it will check if your system is ready for upgrading to a new version of Windows 10 and which version of the Windows is running on your system. After that, it will go online and check the latest version, if you are running an older version, it will begin to down the most recent Windows 10, which as from October 17th is the Fall Creators Update.

Once the Windows 10 Update Assistant begins downloading, you can close the program or minimize it. It will continue downloading in the background and give you an alert once it has finished downloading. At this point, it will ask you to restart your computer and Windows 10 Fall Creators Update begin installing. Simple as that, you will have your latest version of Windows 10.
