For all the love we have for Apple, we do loathe the fact that it tends to overcomplicate even the mundane things all in the name of locking you (the users) on the Apple ecosystem. Take, for instance, putting music on your iPhone. The company wants you to primarily use the iTunes desktop app. When ideally, it should be a drag-and-drop operation.
Long live the Android, for, with these Google-powered devices, simplicity is the mantra. You simply plug in your Android phone via a USB cable to your computer, and you simply drag-and-drop your audio files to your phone’s storage. With iPhones, things are a lot more complicated.
The easiest way would be to use the iTunes, but if you want alternative ways for putting music into your iPhone. Below we have some few workarounds.
WALTR – This is application lets you connect your iPhone to your PC via a lightning cable, and you can then simply drag-and-drop your audio files to your iPhone. There is also no need for converting the songs firsts. The app comes with a 14 days trial license. After which, you are required to pay a one-time fee.
AirDrop – You can also use AirDrop to send files to your iPhone, including your MP3 files. To use this option, go to your iPhone/iPad and tap on Airdrop, switch it on. Next, go to your Mac and turn on the AirDrop features. Send the music files you want to your iPhone.
Download – You can also send the song you like to a cloud storage service like iCloud, Google Drive, and DropBox. Once uploaded, you can simply download them again to your iPhone; or stream them from the cloud. Then again, you can also email yourself an audio file attachment, and open the same email on your iPhone to download the songs.
There are more ways of sending music to your iPhone or iPad other than the ones mentioned above; of course. However, these are among the most common, but you are free to share more ways on the comments section below.
