Kaspersky Lab new Open Innovations Program is looking to partner with tech hubs across the world

Internet security giant Kaspersky Lab has a new interesting program that will see it exchange ideas with tech startups from around the world. Dubbed an innovative collaboration, the Open Innovations Program, this initiative will help tech startups accelerate their development and open doors to new businesses.

For Kaspersky Lab, it gets to expand its own portfolio of innovative products and technologies that meet its customers’ cybersecurity needs. Tech startups around the world are invited to apply for consideration to join the program. The application deadline is July 28.

The candidates must successfully complete a challenge put up by Kaspersky Lab in collaboration with BIBA Venture Partners. The challenge has to do with matters cutting-edge technologies in Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), transportation, blockchain, and anti-fraud.

The candidates must come up with solutions that can solve the cybersecurity challenges faced on the above-mentioned fronts. During the selection phase of the competition, the judges will be looking at the startup’s readiness to rapidly deploy their product or services

The best of the best product will be selected for the technical integration into Kaspersky’s products and will become part of its portfolio and promoted to its customers around the world. The startups will also get technical and business mentoring in addition to having access to Kaspersky’s network of business partners, clients, and prospects.
