Kaymu Kenya Announces A New Country Manager

Jean Jacques Maïkere is Kaymu Kenya’s new Country Manager. Jean-Jacques  is taking over from Aleeda Fazal, and has deep experience in ecommerce from his past experience in West Africa as Country Manager for Jumia.

JJ as he prefers to be called, has a Master’s degree in Business Engineering at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Prior to working for Jumia, JJ worked at Ernst & Young Luxembourg as a financial auditor. He is also a co-founder of Solvay Africa Business Association Club in Brussels, and has also worked for Thomson Reuters  as analyst  among other high-tech experiences.

I am excited to work for Kaymu Kenya, a fast growing e commerce site that has helped so many entrepreneurs make a livelihood and also provided vast selections and deals  for customers.I look forward to steering the team to greater heights” He said. JJ also showed appreciation for  Aleeda Fazal who moved to explore entrepreneurial opportunities outside of Kaymu. “I also would like to thank Aleeda Fazal for bringing Kaymu this far for the past year.”

JJ has zeal and passion for the ecommerce industry and hopes to improve the customer experience and build a stronger brand.
