Google’s Year in Search has released the stats on Kenya most search things on the search engine.
Kenya’s Elections and Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) was the most searched term on the Google search engine for the year 2017. The electoral institution remained the most trending search, particularly in Mombasa, Kisumu, and Eldoret.
As for the most searched prominent person, the immediate former Kenya president, Mwai Kibaki topped the list, followed by current serving Embakasi East member of parliament Babu Owino.
