It looks like Dell needs to call a plumber since there is clearly a leak at the company. This comes after Tom’s Hardware reports that Dell’s Chilean arm accidentally revealed details about the upcoming XPS 13 2-in-1.
The leak even went as far as revealing details of Intel’s upcoming update to the Y-series chip, the Amber Lake.
From the picture above, we can conclude the XPS 13 2-in-1 is actually a refresh of its predecessor, given the general aesthetic look of the machine has not changed that much. It still has the super-slim ‘InfinityEdge’ bezel which makes the 13.3-inch display seem bigger than it actually is.
The screen is a touchscreen (of course) and comes in two variant resolutions, the 1920×1080, and 2560×1440 variants. The laptop also packs a 16GB RAM, and the internal storage ceiling stands at 1TB. It is powered by a 46 WHr battery.
Looking at the processor, like we said earlier, the XPS 13 2-in-1 comes with 8th Gen Intel Amber Lake chip. The chip also comes in two variants; the Core i5-8200Y and the Core i7-8500 chip. That’s all the details that were revealed (accidentally) thus far.
