Founded back in 2011, Mall for Africa has just announced it has expanded to 11 more countries in Africa. A move informed by the increasing demand for its service of connecting consumers in Africa with e-commerce websites operating in the U.K. and U.S.
Mall for Africa, through its proprietary platform and guaranteed payment systems, enables consumers in the continent access billions of consumer goods from overseas online malls with a guarantee of zero fraud during the payment and shipment. Mall for Africa handles all the payment, transaction fees, logistics, marketing, and customers service locally for the online merchants.
The service is now available in the following additional 11 countries in Africa; Angola, Botswana, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Egypt, Malawi, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Chris Folayan, the Mall for Africa CEO, said: “This is an exciting time for Mall for Africa as our rapid growth will afford millions of new customers the opportunity to shop from the most desired retailers.
Current customers in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and Rwanda love our platform which is why we are rolling out in 11 additional countries and will continue to expand our platform to meet the needs of customers worldwide.”
