Microsoft in partnership with CcHub launches #WINsiders4Good Nigeria Fellowship Program

Redmond tech giant Microsoft has entered into a partnership with a leading incubation and acceleration hub in Nigeria, Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) to launch #WINsiders4Good Nigeria Fellowship Program.

The #WINsiders4Good Nigeria Fellowship Program is seeking to empower the best 20 budding entrepreneurs from the Nigerian market with necessary tools to scale their ideas. The ideas by such the chosen entrepreneurs must demonstrate the capacity to impact people’s lives significantly.

Through #WINsiders4Good Nigeria Fellowship Program, Microsoft will be hands-on in turning the ideas put forth by the entrepreneurs into commercially viable products. Some of the tools Microsoft will offer the entrepreneurs include hardware, software and a six-months-long mentorship program that will provide technical and strategy training.

There will be meet-up event at the CcHub headquarters in Yaba, Lagos where interested entrepreneurs will learn more about the #WINsiders4Good Nigeria Fellowship Program. To attend this event, you need to register yourself at this link.

About #WINsiders4Good Nigeria Fellowship Program

This program is now about a year old. Microsoft started this program as an extension of the Windows Insider Program and the need to have users heavily embedded into the program.

With #WINsiders4Good Nigeria, Microsoft intends to have promising entrepreneurs from Nigeria come together and build up Windows-based solutions to some of the socio-economic challenges they face in their local communities. The first #WINsiders4Good event happened on August 2nd, 2016 in Seattle, USA.
