Being an astronaut is one of the jobs only one in half a billion people can ever get to achieve, but if you still harbor dreams of becoming one, you can begin training right now, from wherever you are. All thanks to a third party app Space Nation Navigator, which has since received NASA’s approval.

The Space Nation Navigator app has informative content on how to be an astronaut; it has training in three core areas; the body, mind, and social. The courses are divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced level to enable everyone to learn at their own pace.

As you progress through the course, you earn badges and achievements; if you are excellent, you stand a chance to win four free tickets to Iceland. The trip will be an all-expenses-paid trip, and you will get to tour some of the NASA installations in Iceland where you will visit moon-like landscapes and get to train in the remote location Apollo astronauts train.

The publisher of the Space Nation Navigator are working in collaboration with NASA. Long story short, they can tap into NASA’s vast database of knowledge on space in their previous missions. Therefore, they have relevant content for the app’s training to make you a formidable astronaut trainee.

The app is currently only available on Android, and you can grab your for free from the Google Play Store.
