New York City Set to Host VC4Africa’s Global Entrepreneurship Week Meetup Event

On Thursday November 20th, 2014 VC4Africa members will come together from across the world, connecting entrepreneurs, angels and VC investors dedicated to building game changing companies in Africa. This is the second global series of VC4Africa meetups as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, a global celebration of African entrepreneurship!

Venture Capital for Africa (VC4Africa.biz) is the largest online community connecting African entrepreneurs and investors. Our meetups serve as an additional networking venue where VC4Africa members and supporters meet face to face to share thoughts and ideas. There are no speeches and no agenda which allows for lots of networking and info swapping.

At the global meetups on November 20th, the chosen central question is: “What do you see as actions to take (as an individual or with the wider community) to multiply investments in African startups over the next year?” VC4Africa will collect the output from these discussions across the world.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups. The event takes place each November with 20,000 activities in 140 countries.

This event will take place on the 20th of November from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The meetup will be held at WeWork (401 Park Ave S., NY 10016, New York, U.S.A.) and is hosted by community members Anie Akpe (Founder/Innov8tiv Magazine) , Samantha Taylor (Founder/Reputation Dynamics) and David L. Ross (David L. Ross and Associates, Inc.)
