Nigeria’s Frienditeplus Social Networks Hits 600K Users In One Year’s Run; Now Aiming To Be Africa’s Facebook

In just one year, Nigeria’s Frienditeplus has registered more than 600,000 users officially making it the biggest social networking site in Africa. It is now aiming to become Africa’s Facebook.

According to the founder and CEO, Emmanuel Okeke, the network enables users to stay connected or reconnect with lost friends, families and business partners. Users can sign up into the network by simply using their email address or mobile number. It also enables users to search for friends by using their mobile numbers.

Frienditeplus mission is to connect not just Nigerians and Africans together but to connect Africans to the world of socializing. Without just restricting you to people you have mutual friends with, we want to expand your social connection and experience. It’s simple to say that we are telling the Africa social story” – Emmanuel Okeke (Pictured left).

Like most social networks, Frienditeplus enables users to link their other social network accounts to it. Thereby enabling users to post on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn from their Frienditeplus account.
