Opera has announced a new upgrade for the developer version of its desktop browser to include Chromecast. Yes, that is right! You now have more options other than Google Chrome for sending YouTube videos from your computer to your TV.

Although the feature is disabled by default, users with the developer version of Opera browser can activate it by going to Settings → Browser → User interface and tick on ‘Enable Chromecast support.”

Not only can Opera cast YouTube videos from your computer to your TV, but also opened tabs and even the full desktop. The update also includes protection from browser crash during use. That means if the Opera browser crashes on you mid-usage when you re-open the browser, all the previously opened tabs will be opened and you will view a current tab detailing the problem(s) encountered.

Opera also gets an update to support cryptocurrencies in the currency converter. In addition to other leading world currencies, users can now also convert to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Etherum.
