Tunis, capital of Tunisia, will play host to the Riyeda entrepreneurship event. The two days event running from Feb 21-22 will see about 8,000 delegates come together to chart the way forward on matters emerging trends.
The delegates will also share experiences, advice, and network. The event will be geared towards fostering investments into startup entrepreneurs in Tunisia. The conference will also highlight success stories, best practices, and encourage a leadership culture that seeks to nurture youthful and budding entrepreneurs.
There will also be an expo, where startups can showcase their products at the expo fair. Businesses will pitch and demo their products with the aims of attracting investors who can back their startup ideas and businesses.
There will also be a one-hour session where corporate executives, professional coaches, and experts will be hosting workshops at the Riyeda Labs. Participants will have the option of choosing between free and paid lab session over the course of the two days.
The climax of the conference will feature a startup competition. The Riyeda University Challenge will have participating startups go head-to-head with another pitching their products before a panel of judges. The winner will walk home with TND1,500 ($627).
