Running Nexus 5 Google Experience Launcher on Any Android Device [Guide]

by Fahad Saleem

nexus 5When Nexus 5 was launched late last year, a special custom launcher was found known as Google Experience Launcher or simply Google Now. This launcher gathered the attention of Nexus 5 users. Although Google is the owner of  Google Now, you can get this wonderful app on any Android device.

To get Google Now, you need to download the latest version of the Google search update from the play store before running the Nexus 5’s GoogleHome APK. Once you have installed that, you will be able to run Google Now launcher on absolutely any Android Device.

In order to install non-play Google apps, on a temporary basis, you need to configure your settings properly. However, once you have downloaded the new version of Google search and GoogleHome APKs on your device, you will be able to run the installer of Google Now on your Android device by simply going to the home button.

In terms of the launcher, it is very friendly and convenient to use. Even though, it is not designed for any device other than Nexus 5, it runs smoothly on Galaxy S4 and HTC One. As I mentioned earlier, it can also run on other android devices as well, which is why I like this product.

It’s kinda interesting to know that Google hasn’t made the “Now” application launcher available to Nexus 7, Nexus 4 or Nexus 10. However, it is available for use on any smart-phone or tablet. You just need to get the latest version of Google search and GoogleHome APK. Then you can run the installer of Google Now very easily.
