The 2017 Samsung J7
Like its predecessor, the J7 has a 5.5-inch display, but just about all the similarity is has to its aging brother. The 2017 J7 comes with a Full HD (1080*1920) Super AMOLED display. Underneath it is powered by the Exynos 7870 chip clocking at 1.6GHz, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM expandable via MicroSD and running Android 7.0 Nougat. It is juiced by a 3,600mAh battery and has 13MP front and rear snapper.
The 2017 Samsung J5
Comes with a 5.2-inch HD (720*1280) Super AMOLED display, running on an Exynos Chip, backed up by 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM expandable via MicroSD. It is juiced by 3,000mAh battery and runs the Android Nougat. For the cameras, you get a 13MP snapper on both the front and rear.
The 2017 Samsung J3
Considered the entry level device in this list of smartphones, the J3 has a 5-inch HD (720*1280) TFT display powered by Exynos 7570 chip clocking at 1.4GHz backed by 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM expandable via MicroSD. It is juiced by 2,400mAh battery and has 13MP snapper on the rear and 5MP at the front. The phone is powered by 2,400mAh battery and runs Android Nougat too.
All the 2017 J series come with a metallic body. The J7 (2017) retails at $380, J5 at $315, and J3 at $250.
