Microsoft has taken the next step in the ladder towards making Skype accessible via the web browser. Last week we featured an article saying that the Redmond tech giant had availed Skype for Web beta only to users in the U.S. and UK in what could have best been described as still a dry run.

Now, Microsoft has made it possible for users around the world to use the Skype for Web, albeit it is still in beta stage. To use Skype directly from your browser, head on to web.Skype.com or www.Skype.com. You can used any of these browsers; Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer.
