Social Media Should Be More About Influence | #TheSMJury

Panelists at #TheSmJury, have highlighted influence as key in using social media for business purposes.

Speaking at the inaugural edition of #TheSmJury, a featured Social Media Jury Master class at the Lagos Creative Industry Fair held on 10th November 2015 at the Freedom Park in Lagos, Social Media guru and Head of Social Media, Kaymu Africa, Abiola Fabio stated, “Social Media should be more about influence and not likes.’’

The panel session  tagged ‘’Social Media: The New Global Currency’’ featured thought leaders and seasoned experts from Microsoft Nigeria, Muyemi Orimolade(Microsoft Communications Lead), Kaymu Africa, Abiola Fabio(Head of Social Media) and Steph B Online Business School Founder, Stephaine Obi.

Earlier on, the convener of the event and online Publicist, Tonia Odili, in her opening speech, emphasized the essence of the event , she stated that, “#TheSmJury is envisioned to provide participants the opportunity to draw fresh leaning and insights from experts in order to create the most innovation online strategies and ideas for a profitable business.”

The quarterly interactive event which was anchored by OAP, OTB of Naija.
