Last night, during the European premiere of Marvel’s – first film with a cast of all black superheroes – Black Panther, stars and fans attended the event at the Eventim Apollo, London donned in traditional African attire.
Actors such as Lupita Nyongo, Daniel Kaluuya came to the black carpet event wearing some of the biggest names in design you would expect to find at a film premiere. Other Celebes who showed up include Leona Lewis, John Boyega, and The Black Eyed Peas.
In keeping with the movies’ themes, celebs and fans attending the premiere came rocking some of the outstanding African clothes from around the continent. Some even took to social media under the hashtag #WhatBlackPantherMeansToMe.
‘This movie will prove to the colonialists that if they had not interfered with Africa, we’d be so far advanced.’
