The fun game with a short Italian plumber first made its entry onto smartphones late last year with iOS being the first platform. The game has the same play model as initially created by Nintendo; trial version for three modes: World Tour, Toad Rally, and Kingdom Builder. Before being asked to part with $9.99 to unlock the rest of the game.

Super Mario Run is now available to Android devices; although Nintendo seems to be rolling it in waves, with other parts of the world getting it sooner than others. If you go to your Play Store and the game still ‘pre-register’ that means your part of the world is yet to get the game available.

However, there is a workaround to it, and you can still install the game even though it is currently not available in your location. You can download and sideload the game from the APK Mirror and not have to wait any further.

When you complete one of the challenges facing Bowser, you unlock a new course 1-4 that enables you battled it with the fellow. Additionally, when you clear course 1-4, Nintendo automatically gives you new courses in the Toad Rally mode.

When the game was first launched late last year on iOS, it registered 40 million downloads within its first four days. By January, downloads were somewhere in the 78 million, but the number of people going beyond the free version to actually paying for the game was 5% of the number of downloads.

iOS gamers are also getting an update to the game, with the roll out of v2.0, which comes with new playable characters.
