This edition of the tournament will have a total of 16 teams. With that, the Cricket World Cup 2021 live betting will surely be interesting with a total of 45 matches to watch out for. The final of this event is scheduled for November 14 in Dubai.

2021 World Cup Format and Point System

The whole tournament will be divided into three stages and this edition will also have a shorter format than usual. During the first round, a total of eight teams will be playing and they will be grouped in two. Group A has Ireland, Namibia, Netherlands, and Sri Lanka. The top team from Group A and the second from Group B will be part of Group 1 on the next round which is the Super 12. Group B’s top team and Group A’s second place will then be part of Group 2.

Super 12 will then have another two groups with six other teams and the top two teams from Round 1. For this round, Group 1 has Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies, A1, and B2. Group 2 has Afghanistan, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, A2, and B1. The teams advancing from the Super 12 stage will move on to the knock-out stage which has two semi-finals and the final.

Only one point system will be followed throughout the group stages and it is as follows:
