Seedstars, the international early-stage startup competition, has revealed the list of ten startups that will be pitching during its Nigerian leg of the competition in Lagos. The ten will go head-to-head for a chance to advance to the global final stage of the competition and stand a chance to take home up to $1 million in equity funding.
The competition has already picked the early-stage startups in other African countries including Kenya, DR Congo, Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Tunisia, Guinea Bissau, Angola, and Senegal. The Nigeria leg of the competition will be on October 19 at the Seedspace Lagos.
All regional winners will represent their respective countries at the Seedstars Regional Africa Summit where the winner will get an all-paid trip to Switzerland to participate in the Seedstars Summit slated for April 2019. Other than the $1 million equity investment for the overall winner, other winners will also have a variety of prizes to win.
