Tony Elumelu Foundation To Announce 1,000 #AfricanEntrepreneurs Winners of #TEEP2015
Late last year, the Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Program (TEEP) opened application submission from pan-African startups, where the startups stood a chance to win a total of $100m. The program is set to give startups not just seed funding, but also access to a structured multi-year access to financing, knowledge and mentoring opportunity at scales that are unprecedented in Africa.
Since the program started receiving applications, it is said over 20,000 applicants from across 52 countries across the continent have already applied. The application window closed on March 1st, and TEEP is set to announce the 1,000 successful applicants today, at a conference in Lagos, Nigeria.
The event will kick off at 1:00PM West Africa Time (WAT).
