USA is gearing up to attack Russia Cyberspace as a retaliation to DNC hack

The United States is currently embroiled in a heated campaign between the Democrats and Republicans over who will succeed the incumbent President Barack Obama. While the next President will be the President of the United States and not the President of the world. The rest of the world is nonetheless, very interested in who will become the next POTUS.

Russia, in particular, is reportedly too interested that it is allegedly conducting clandestine activities to influence U.S. voters in favor of the candidate they think will better work with Vlad. If there were a bet on whether Vladimir Putin prefers working with Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, my money would be on the Donald. A Vlad – Donald combination seems more natural based on the two’s macho and chest-thumping approach on issues than a Vlad – Hillary combination.

This assertion can be backed up by the hack into the Democratic National Convention’s computers by a hacker under the pseudonym Guccifer 2.0. Guccifer 2.0 hacked some 20,000 DNC emails, personal data and information on donors.

The White House is convinced that Guccifer is a Russia-government-backed cyberspace attack on the United States, and they will not take it lying down. Emerging reports indicate that the White House has called upon the CIA to come up with several clandestine cyber-attacks on the Kremlin and Vlad’s administration.

It seems the Americans wants to return fire for fire, but it is strange they called upon the CIA and not the NSA. If Snowden’s reports are anything to go by, the NSA is a more ruthless body on clandestine cyber espionage, monitoring, and attacks. On Snowden’s account, the NSA don’t even need anybody’s permission to start snooping around and getting their noses into other people’s private businesses.

The White House calls on the CIA for counter-cyber-attacks on Russia raises the question on the seriousness of the United States. Given the popular belief that the NSA is always listening, always watching on anyone and everyone, without anyone’s permission. Thus, the NSA would be better suited for the job; or are they already at work, and the CIA is just a decoy? To dupe the target into not raising surmountable defense strategy.

According to the U.S. intelligence representative report to the NBC News:

Current and former officials with direct knowledge of the situation say the CIA has been asked to deliver options to the White House for a wide-ranging “clandestine” cyber operation designed to harass and “embarrass” the Kremlin leadership.

The sources did not elaborate on the exact measures the CIA was considering but said the agency had already begun opening cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation. Former intelligence officers told NBC News that the agency had gathered reams of documents that could expose unsavory tactics by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Vice President Joe Biden told “Meet the Press” moderator Chuck Todd on Friday that “we’re sending a message” to Putin and that “it will be at the time of our choosing, and under the circumstances that will have the greatest impact.” When asked if the American public will know a message was sent, the vice president replied, “Hope not.”

If the U.S. fails to respond to the alleged Russia-sponsored hack on the DNC. The country will look weak. There are reports that hundreds of millions of dollars are being allocated to the team appointed to launch the cyber-attacks.

Last Thursday, a U.S. Government official privy to the investigations told the CNN that there are convincing evidence showing Russia is handing over leaked emails to the WikiLeaks. That is probably where WikiLeaks is getting all the ‘dirt’ they are releasing on the Democrat nominee, much to the pleasure of Donald, who is increasingly seeming like the Russia’s choice to be the next POTUS.
