As of January 2015, out of the 126 companies that showcased at Startup Alley at TechCrunch Disrupt 2014, 24 of them have since received funding. The startups have so far risen $90.9 million in seed and Series A funding, 11 of the startups raised more than $78 million in the first three months of Disrupt conference.

How does Startup Alley work?
In the Startup Alley program, startups that get chosen to exhibit their products, get two tickets to the Disrupt NY conference. They are also given one day to put up their exhibition in the alley where they will display their creations, interact with influential members of the media, investors, and tech luminaries among others. To be eligible, you must be a startup company less than two years old and with a capital funding not exceeding $2.5 million.
The startups that do get to showcase their products at the Startup Alley will for the first two days of the Disrupt NY conference, stand a chance to be voted into the Startup Battlefield competition. Every day for the duration of the conference. One startup will be named as the audience choice winner of the day, and get a chance to stand against other TechCrunch’s hand-picked startups in competition for the $50,000 cash prize and the Disrupt Cup.
On the last day of the conference, the hardware companies will take over the Startup Alley. You should also expect to see wearable techs, robotics, drones and the ‘go-go inspector gadgets’ types of gizmos whirling around the Alley.
