WeChat for Windows now supports Group and Video Calls

WeChat one of the leading instant messaging apps has baked some new features into its Windows app. Now users have Group Voice and Video Calls.

Users can now make voice calls and video calls with their family and friends right from their Windows computers. Users can also talk to a group of users all at once.

Sometimes you just can’t replace a call or face-to-face chat with friends, whether it be on your mobile or desktop,” wrote WeChat on a blog.

Other upgrades baked into the latest WeChat for Windows include:

Ø You can make voice and video calls to group chats.

Ø You can send files 4 times larger than the previous size limit (25 MB); the new limit is 100MB

Ø You have a newly designed chat bubbles.

Ø Improved user experience with the embedded browser
