You can always go for some of that special Speciosa Kratom to rejuvenate your system with energy to see you through the week.

And in other news …

Have you recently come across a new vaping device that you want to know more about? Have you finally heard about dry herb vaporizers, and want to know what these devices consist of?

A dry herb vaporizer is a fairly new device that is similar to that of a regular vaporizer, except it uses the actual cannabis flower instead of a marijuana concentrate. With this said, the device has to be slightly different from regular vaporizers to accommodate this.

A dry herb vaporizer is made up of 3 different components and all are incredibly important when it comes to the vaping process. These being the chamber, mouthpiece, and heating methods. Of course, you have the device itself, which is another component or even a screen, but this isn’t essential to the process.

What is a Dry Herb Vaporizer?

Before you even ask yourself what the different components are within a dry herb vaporizer, you need to ask what is a dry herb vaporizer? Many people associate vaporizers with devices that use concentrate such as wax, shatter, or oil. While these are typically very commonly used, dry herb vaporizers are starting to make their moves in the cannabis industry and become more popular.

A dry herb vaporizer is essentially just a vaporizer that is used for dried flower itself, which can now even be bought online at cannabis stores like Canna Cabana. It works by heating the herb to extreme temperatures and turning it into a vapor that can then be inhaled. This is a much better way to consume marijuana than smoking because there are far fewer health risks and there is no damage to the lungs.

When it comes to dry herb vaporizers, there are 3 different kinds to choose from; the tabletop vaporizer, portable vaporizer, and vape pen. The latter two are small and easy to move around because they work off of battery power, whereas the tabletop vape is much larger and is not portable but is powered by electricity through a wall outlet.

Chamber

The first component of a dry herb vaporizer that is very important is the chamber. The chamber of a dry herb vaporizer is located below the mouthpiece and is where the finely ground, dried weed, is placed into.

That chamber is what is heated in the process and where the vapor is collected before it is inhaled. Within the chamber, you have the different heating methods which will be discussed at a later point.

Mouthpiece

The next component is the mouthpiece. This is yet another crucial component when it comes to dry herb vaporizers. While normally just a simple heat resisted or plastic piece, this is what you use to inhale the vapor.

It is exactly what it sounds like. You place your mouth on the mouthpiece and inhale. With different vaporizers come different mouthpieces and you need to choose the right one based on your personal preferences.

Heating Method

Last but not least, we have possibly the most important component, and this is the heating method. Without a heating method, you will not be able to vaporize the components in your weed and the product would be ineffective.

The first heating method is conduction. This is the cheaper of the options and is the one you will come across most often, however, it is a bit more finicky than the other option. Essentially, this method uses metal plates that heat the marijuana and the chamber. While it still works, you will need to stir your weed up now and again to make sure it is heated evenly, and you are getting the most of your product.

The next method is convection heating. This is just like that of a convection oven where the chamber is heated by circulating hot air. While this option may be a bit more expensive, it is a much more effective one because it eats the product much more evenly.

The last option you have is a hybrid heating system which makes use of both heating methods. For some, this may be a good choice, but for others, it is just not worth the added price.
