WhatsApp Web Now Available On Microsoft Edge Browser

Microsoft Edge browser is slowly but surely catching up with the rivals, some of which have had a long head-start like Firefox. The browser now supports WhatsApp Web, the desktop version of WhatsApp that lets you chat with your contacts right from the browser.

Edge browser comes preinstalled with Windows 10, and up to until recently. The browser did not support WhatsApp Web. Both Microsoft and WhatsApp promised users to work together to bring WhatsApp Web on the Edge browser. The two have delivered on their word, and now users can run WhatsApp Web on the Edge browser without applying any hacks.

WhatsApp Web was previously only supported on Chrome, Firefox and Opera browsers. Edge is the latest entrance to the group of browsers supporting this service; its sister-browser, Internet Explorer, is still not included.
