WhoseYourLandlord.com Starting a Million Rating Challenge This Fall

Renters can now rate their landlord and housing complexes thanks to whoseyourlandlord.com – emphasis on the word “who” as it gives renters ownership of their situation by placing housing in their own hands.

WhoseYourLandlord (WYL) launched 18 months ago in Philadelphia, PA and later relocated to New York. The following is a blurb from Ofo Ezeugwu, the Founder and CEO of WYL:

We created whoseyourlandlord.com to hold home providers accountable for their practices and to give tenants a say in regard to their home and overall well-being. We’re launching our mobile app this Thursday, August 28th and we’re embarking on our Million Rating Challenge this fall which will provide users with more information and better assist them in making educated decision before finalizing their lease agreement.

The future goals is to further grow the platform and expand into new markets where WYL’s mission proves to be necessary. In the name, we use the possessive form of the word “who” because we’re giving renters ownership of their situation by putting housing in their hands.”

Starting August 24th running through to November 24th, WYL will be running a #MillionRatingChallenge. For every rating users make on whoseyourlandlord.com, they will be committing a 10 cents donation towards college scholarships to the Just Heart Help non-profit organization.

In the past, Ofo Ezeugwu has also been working with the underserved communities for the last six years where he has initiated several programs like the Kids to College and Urban Roots. All of which has been key in highlighting college as the best option and made the youth turn to healthier food choices in the community. WYL is endeavouring to continue with the same efforts.

How You Can Win

As a renter, once you leave your rating on whoseyourlandlord.com, tell as much of your friends about it as you possibly can. The more people you refer, the better your chances of winning gift cards to amazing places like Amazon, Starbucks and Ikea becomes.

You will also enter in a draw to win cool new gadgets like Beats by Dre, GoPro Camera and iPad mini among other prices.
