Women In Tech Africa Sets Up Amazing Women In Tech Database

Are you an organization looking to bring more gender equality to your staff headcounts, but fail to get the qualified female workers whenever you are recruiting ? Well, Women in Tech Africa has begun creating a database of Amazing Women in Tech.

This is a web page on the Women in Tech website where they essentially catalog all the professional women in their network. Where each woman’s professional background is profiled in terms of their skills, experience, and professional training among others including their picture profile.

The Amazing Women in Tech platform is geared towards making it very easy for recruiters, event organizers, and Company’s CEOs to find highly qualified and professional woman to speak at their event, or fill up a vacancy in their organization.

Currently, the web page contains at least 272 women, but the Women in Tech Africa says that they plan on growing this number much further.

Ethel D. Cofie, a co-founder of the Women in Tech Africa, says she expects more professional women, from both big and small organizations especially within the tech field to register themselves on the platform. The web page seeks to showcase the most outstanding women within the tech space, and it would be in their nest interest to be listed on the page.

She also reiterated the importance of equal gender representation at the workplace. She said that organizations with employee diversity tend to have a more fulfilling and productive working environment. It also helps in attracting and retaining a great pool of great skills and experience from employees from different backgrounds.
