Women Techmakers apply now to get Chrome Dev Summit Travel grant, Deadline next week

It’s a little over a month now to the Chrome Dev Summit that will be happening in San Francisco, CA, USA. This is one summit any member of the Women Techmakers community would wish to attend.

The members come from far and wide; basically from all around the world. For some member, getting to the summit is going to be harder than some. There is the airfare, train travel, and hotel accommodations to worry about.

Well, the cost of traveling to the summit could be subsidized for a few lucky members, if you apply for the travel grant. That’s right! There is a grant of $500 up for offer to the Women Techmakers community who will be making the trip to the Chrome Dev Summit that will be happening on November 12-13 in San Francisco.

The Chrome Dev Summit Travel Grant

The travel grant will be given to selected Women Techmakers members to subsidize their expenses on airfare, train travel, and hotel accommodations up to $500. Any Women Techmakers member from around the world is eligible for consideration to this grant. So any member, from whichever part of the world, is encouraged to apply.

However, the application window to the travel grant closes pretty first. You have until next week; on Monday, October 1st, 2018 to be precise. Successful applicants will be announced on by October 15th, 2018.

Other than the travel grant, there will two more packs for those eligible. That is a mother’s rooms and prayer rooms. The two rooms will be available throughout the event.
