WorldRemit & Tanzania’s TigoPesa Partners To Facilitate Easy Money Transfers
WorldRemit the London-based online peer to peer money transfer service has partnered with Tanzania’s TigoPesa to enable the Diaspora to send money to families and friends living in Tanzania easily via their smartphones, tablets and computers.
Currently, WorldRemit is available in more than 35 countries and can facilitate money transfers to over a 100 destinations through credit or debit card or bank transfer. Tanzanian recipients get their money either through mobile wallet, airtime top-up for their phones, cash pickup/delivery or bank deposit.

By WorldRemit partnering TigoPesa, this will provide another avenue for the diaspora to remit money to their loved ones back home.
