Xiaomi is now after Alienware’s exclusive market of powerful gaming laptops but at ‘half the price’

The Chinese brand Xiaomi has made a name for itself on the international scene for Android phones. Well, with Xiaomi Phone you get beefy specs at pocket-friendly prices; compared to a Samsung and Pixel phones with the same specs. The company now want to give Alienware a fierce run for its money.

Xiaomi has now branched out to making gaming gears and has released a new laptop with high-end graphics performance, and costs half as much as an Alienware gear with similar specs.

The Mi Gaming Laptop

The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch display with Full HD, powered by the Intel Core i7 chip and the Nvidia GTX 1060 GPU. These beefy specs come backed up by a 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD and a 1TB HDD fitted alongside for more onboard storage.Xiaomi mi gaming laptop

Xiaomi says all the above beefy hardware are housed in a slightly bigger body to allow for better cooling. The laptop is fitted with twin fans and four air vents, and the 3+2 heatpipe design. The Mi Gaming Laptop also comes with a ‘Tornado’ button that gives extra ‘Nitrous’ to the fans to bring the temperature some 3-5 degrees Celsius down in just 10 minutes.

The Mi Gaming laptop comes with other necessary gaming features like the RGB backlit keyboard with additional keys you can program to your liking. It also has the Dolby Atmos-tuned audio and an amp for the headphone to help you quickly identify where the sounds are coming from the game. As for connectivity, it has four USB 3.0, USB-C ports and a 20.9mm profile.
