The competition seeks to recognize and award innovative and positively impactful startups across energy, food, water, and energy sector. The competition will pick the most promising of such startup and help them scale their products with the aim of creating a sustainable future.

The total prize fund is $3 million for startups that pitch the most innovative and promising product(s) under the aforementioned sectors. The deadline for application is August 9th.
“The categories of the Zayed Sustainability Prize have been carefully selected to reflect the most pressing sustainability challenges and offer the greatest socio-economic impact on the lives of people around the world,” said Dr. Lamya Fawwaz, the Director of the Zayed Sustainability Prize.
“The prize will also look to inspire today’s youth to be forward-thinkers and cultivate within them a vested interest in becoming agents of change for sustainable development – after all, youth of today are leaders of tomorrow.”
The prize’s goal is to address the interrelated nature of global resources around the world in as far as championing socio, economic, and environmental progress is concerned. The prize provides a platform for recognizing the next generation of sustainable innovation and leadership from across the globe.
Through the fund and the accompanying support network, the prize allows organizations and enterprises to sustainably amplify their work and outreach.
