Nigeria’s Lola Omolola receives praise from Zuckerberg for her Facebook page Female IN or FIN, which provides the platform for Women to share their mind without fear of judgment or retribution.
Lola Omolola is based in the United States and runs the secret Facebook group where women can talk about “everything, from marriage and sex to health issues and work problems,” says Zuckerberg. The Facebook group provides a platform of no-judgement, where members can freely share their mind.
The group formed two years ago, now has over a million members. Zuckerberg says FIN was “helping end the culture of silence that exists for women in some parts of the world.” Zuckerberg is looking forward to working with Omolola and see how her Facebook group could be scaled to an even bigger community and help more people.
