63-year-old Eric Seidel was first popularly known as a professional backgammon player. However, he later transitioned into poker when he was in Las Vegas for a backgammon tournament.

35-year-old David Peters started catching people’s attention while playing online. He later became one of the best players in the No-Limit Texas Hold’em world tournament.

- Daniel Negranu
The 48-year-old Daniel Negranu has won six World Series of Poker tournaments. He is also the first person, in the history of the game, to win the WSOP Player of the Year two times. At the height of his career, he made it to the top as a world-class professional poker player and became inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. He is best known for keenly reading his opponents and preempting their next moves.
