Fix Screen Rotation in Samsung Galaxy S7 Not Working Android

Samsung Galaxy S7 users are facing the issue of screen rotation. The screen rotation isn’t working on their phone. They are unable to find an icon to turn it on. The default settings for the phone orientation is portrait. Below are the solutions you can try to turn on screen rotation in Samsung Galaxy S7.

Portrait Mode

The screen orientation feature should be enabled to allow screen rotation in Samsung Galaxy S7. Pull down from the top of the screen to display quick settings menu. An icon labeled ‘portrait’ will be displayed in the settings if the mode is activated. Tap on it to turn it off and allow the screen rotation into landscape mode. When the landscape mode is activated the icon is labeled as ‘auto rotate.’

Safe Mode

Try to reboot your phone in safe mode to make sure if any third party App is causing the problem. If the problem doesn’t persist in safe mode, it’s a good sign that an App you have installed is the cause of your issue. Finding the culprit App is a bit difficult, but try deleting the Apps one by one to check which one is causing the problem. This solution can fix screen rotation issue in Samsung Galaxy S7.

Factory Reset

Go to your phone’s Settings and then go Back up and Reset. Now, uncheck automatic restore and factory reset your phone. Before you factory reset your phone, make sure you have backed up your data to prevent any loss.  This would solve the issue of internet browser opening Ads every time the screen is unlocked.

Restart Phone

Another solution you can try to enable screen rotation is to restart your phone. Turn off your phone and then turn it on again. After turning it on, don’t use it for 20 seconds.
