Launch Instagram app in your iPhone and tap on your profile picture, which is located at the low right corner of your screen.

Now tap the Settings icon (the cogwheel). You will get an options list. Here you can find people, edit account and a lot more but the task at hand is the remove search history in Instagram. For that, swipe all the way to the end downwards and you will see an option to clear the search history. That’s what we were looking for.

Remove Instagram Search History in Android

In order to remove Instagram search history in Android, the steps are almost the same.

Launch Instagram app in your device and tap on the profile picture.

Tap on the settings icon (three dots) and swipe downwards until you see clear search history button.

If you are using an older version, after launching Instagram app, you will see the options button on the top right corner. Just tap it and tap on the clear search history.

All the Instagram search history will be deleted.
