However, if your PC meets all the requirements to download and run Windows 11, why shell out money for a new machine when you can get Windows 11 for free?

If you have a PC running Windows 10, here is how to upgrade it to Windows 11:
- In Windows 10, click Start and then type Windows Update. Then select Windows Update Settings.
- Click Check for Updates. If Windows 11 is available for download, you will get Feature update to Windows 11 Click on Download and install. Restart your PC if prompted.
- If the PC has less than 128GB of HDD space, you will be prompted to connect a USB flash drive. Use a blank USB flash drive of 32GB or larger. The old windows files will be stored here in case you decide to revert to Windows 10.
Before doing this however, make sure that you back-up your important files and create a recovery media. You could save them to a different USB drive from the one you are using for installation.
