In medical science, there is such a thing as a good virus. Those that live in symbiotic harmony with your internal systems; you provide them with home (your body) and in return, they feed off body waste and even other harmful bacteria.
Come to computer science, there has never been such a thing as a good virus; all the virus we know cause havoc. That is because the humans behind their design, often create them for malicious purposes.
Well, Japan wants to give the world the first good antivirus that will be beneficial to the ICT space. It will be a first of its kind across the entire world; perhaps even the universe if we already don’t have some clandestine alien-ware spying on us as it moves silently across the internet.
People privy to the matter say they hope the good malware in design will be able to break into a computer system and attack the bad antiviruses it finds hiding there. Though we don’t think this antivirus will be used for commercial purposes.
More like protecting the government of Japan from having its installation being hacked into by both domestic and foreign cyberattackers. It is one of the cyber defense mechanisms nations have to adapt to protect themselves in this modern world cyber warfare.
