Experts say that the African Diaspora have an enormous amount of potential wealth and talents. It is also said that by 2040, Africa will be home to the biggest workforce, even larger than China or India. This calls for targeted new business growth especially in areas such as agriculture, medical services, and education. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) have notably been identified to have a great potential to help the continent to become competitive globally.

It is in this spirit that the World Bank Trade in conjunction with Competitiveness and Education Global Practices, will on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Bring together angel investors, donor, and entrepreneurs among others, who are looking for opportunities to kick start trade, investments and mentorship programs across the sub-Saharan Africa.
