Using Buttons
Just go the to the place, app or screen of which you want to take the screenshot.
Press the Home Button ( the big button at the bottom center of the front of your device) and the Power button (the one at the top left of your phone) at the same time. Keep pressing them both together for one or two seconds.
You will hear a cracking snapshot camera sound and screenshot will be taken.
Wondering where are your screenshots in Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge? No problem. Just go to the Gallery and screenshots folder and you will find your screenshots located there. You can also find them from the My Files folder.
There is another method to take a screenshot in Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Using Motion Gestures
Tilt your hand on its side. This should be in such a way that your thumb should be away from the screen (refer to the photo on the mobile as shown below).
Now just swipe in any direction and the screenshot will be taken.
The above method to take a screenshot in Galaxy S6 is possible due to the gestures feature. If you don’t have it enabled on your phone, follow the steps given below.
Launch Settings in your Android and go to Motions-> Motions and gestures” options.
Now tap “Palm swipe to capture.”
Toggle the option ON.
