Pushing forward into 2016, I think it is safe to say that our world is completely digitized. Everything from our cab rides to buying our lunch consists of one touch in one central place — an app. As an entrepreneur with a full-time job and a full-time life, managing my business is more than just a task so I’m often left questioning…
how could I maximize my time with the resources I have?
With this annoying question on repeat in my brain, it finally hit me! Everyone has a phone, whether it’s apple or android, and they are usually in our hand about 99.9% of the time.
What apps are out there that can make life easier? Check out what I came up with.
1. Cloze
This app is my absolute FAVORITE! I have a horrible memory so this app makes my life easier than my fingerprint on my iPhone! This is a mobile smart app that tracks your last interactions with friends, clients, prospects and helps to manage your digital relationships through your email. It sends you reminders of how long ago was your last email or when you were supposed to follow up. It can even send automative messages like,“Hey, I’m just checking in.” emails on your request. Cloze becomes your own personal assistant… cool, right?
Scrolling through Facebook or Her Agenda, I find fascinating articles or links that I want to read but sometimes with my busy schedule, I can’t sit down and read it right there and then. Pocket solves this problem. You are able to copy and paste your link into Pocket and it saves it for you to read later. You can even customize it to have tags so you can go back to read specific topics. Pretty simple, don’t you think? They even have a safari/chrome integration.
So you have just finished your website or a blog post and your link is just ridiculously long?! Ugh, I hate those moments because it takes up so much space in your beautifully curated post. However, bit.ly takes care of that little problem. Just copy and paste your link into this app and it allows you to create a custom short link.
