BeChangeMaker 2020 is currently receiving applications. It is a social enterprise created by the HP Foundation and WorldSkills International for people between the ages of 18-35.
As it works out
BeChangeMaker is an annual program that recruits people from around the world for virtual training. The candidates form teams and learn new skills online. After acquiring the skills, the team enters a competition against each other. In a race to come up with a socially responsible business model.
How to Sign up
The program is free to enter and takes place virtually. So if you are feeling lonely and have too much time in your hands in the midst of this COVID-19 mayhem. Then definitely, you should sign up for BeChangeMaker 2020.
You will not only get to meet new people from around the world but also learn some new skills. Not forgetting, get a chance to receive €2,000 ($2,168) in funding and €1,000 ($1,084) to bring your business ideas to life. That is if your team comes up with a socially responsible business model that knocks the socks off the judges.
The top five business ideas will be pitched at the WorldSkills General Assembly 2020 conference in Dublin. Where the top three teams will be awarded the aforementioned money to develop their business idea.

Last Year’s Winner
The BeChangeMakers 2019 winner was Team Zelij Invent from Morocco. This team developed a business idea model where they are using nanobubble technology to reduce environmental pollution. Their technology is turning plastic waste into eco-friendly construction materials. Also, they are transforming fish waste into climate-neutral fashion.
