Good news to startups across Nigeria looking not to bootstrap your way into success. There is a new early-stage accelerator and launch program Founder Institute looking to invest in promising startups.
For their first year of operations, Founder Institue is targeting to work with at least 20 startups from across Nigeria. The accelerator is currently receiving applications and anyone interested is encouraged to apply.
Applications are done here.
Free startup events across Nigeria
Founder Institute will be holding a series of events across Nigeria. The events will be open and free to access by the general public.
Attendees to these events can learn how to start, and run a business. You can see the full list of events here.
Founder Institute describes itself as an accelerator that focuses on people and not just the ideas. It also enrolls founders with day jobs and has an equity-share approach to funding.
Some of the companies the accelerators has been involved with include Travelcar, Realty Mogul, Udemy, Appota, and goplaceit among others.
